Love a hidden gem and also a good old pub. But this pub ain’t old as it has been renovated and looks pretty modern with lots of TVs. The food was much better then I expected and was tasty. The chips were crunchy, the coleslaw fresh and flavourful and the food was all pretty good. Modern ambience, tasty food food and a hearty one. What is there not to love ❤️ Great company, cold drinks, modern ambience and yummy tasty food 🍲

Nice little pub. Food was fantastic. Hubby had the fish and chips I had the steak sandwich. Both fairly priced. Both great size servings. My only tiny bit of criticism is that the steak sandwich comes on too small a plate. There is no way of cutting it and by the time you get to your 2nd piece the bread is soggy and hard to eat. Service was good.

I’ve been coming around for dinner quite a lot recently and the atmosphere is always welcoming and warm, the service is amazing and they always has great deals. The chef Deb always makes the best tasting food in Perth! The portions size is perfect for the price and drinks are spot on. You won’t find a better place after a long day in Perth.

We had a spontaneous celebration with our adult son on a Sunday. No reservation. There was plenty of parking and we ended up close to the entrance. The three of us walked straight in and sat down at a booth that would seat six. The booth also had a digital display showing a US collegiate football game. As we were from the US, we found this to be a familiar taste of home. a quick look around at the other booths showed screens showing UFC, BMX, FIBA and music videos. Before we arrived, we had found a great deal of info about the venue including hours and the menu. So we were hungry and ready to order as soon as we had sat down. In the center of our table was a QR code which allowed us to place our own food order with the kitchen. We tried twice to order using an Android device and both times we had a hiccup which prevented the order from being placed. Third time we tried with an Apple device and completed the order process normally. While we ordered our food, one of us went to the bar to order drinks which happened in a prompt and satisfactory manner. Food took a little longer than expected to be prepared but the pub was busy. Food was served and unanimously enjoyed. Portions were generous. Prices were on the high side of normal. All in all, we were pleased that we came and we would certainly consider coming back if we are in the area.
